The triceps is the bulk of your upper arm, and it is the muscle most people train with the least thought. Pushdowns at the end of a chest session, three sets, elbows pinned, done. That approach trains two of the three heads reasonably well and leaves the third — the largest one, the one that gives the back of the arm its depth — barely stimulated.

The long head is the biarticular one. Try it without any weight. Reach an arm straight overhead and you will feel a clear pull along the back of the upper arm.
